CORE Speech and Language Therapy provides private speech therapy in the areas of speech, language, or myofunctional therapy to clients in Connecticut. We offer virtual, home-based, community-based, and contract services to meet the unique needs of each individual. From speech-language development, to correcting oral habits, we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their communication and myofunctional goals.
Hi! My name is Julia Pepitone, I am a certified speech-language pathologist located in Connecticut. I graduated from The University of Vermont with my bachelor's in communication sciences and disorders. I attended graduate school at Northeastern University where I received my masters in speech-language pathology. I currently hold my speech therapy certification in Connecticut and Texas. I have a wide range of experience working with children of all ages and adults. My areas of expertise include, but is not limited to: myofunctional therapy, speech sounds disorders, articulation, gestalt language processing, and language disorders and/or delays. I am passionate about educating others about the growing field of myofunctional therapy and providing neuro-affirming services to autistic individuals.
At CORE we are passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming therapy in order to best support and empower autistic individuals. We take the time to listen to the voices of autistic individuals, advocates, and review recent research to ensure our practices are current.
